Yesterday, KS1 had a visit from Avon Fire and Rescue Service.

This term we have been learning all about The Great Fire of London and people who help us. It was fantastic to share our knowledge, find out some new and exciting facts about keeping safe and the job role of a fire fighter.

We learnt all about the dangers of playing with matches, a simple fire escape plan, the purpose of a fire fighters uniform and how to ‘stop, drop and roll’ if we catch on fire.

We also got to see the fire engine too and some of the special equipment.

It was so much fun!
