Elm class have been enjoying philosophy sessions throughout the year with Laura Griffin, who works in The Hague for The International Baccalaureate organisation, and was brought up in Acton Turville.

We’ve been thinking about some of life’s big questions, linked to our Rainforest topic for the first part of the year.  Since Easter, we’ve been thinking about the differences between local and global issues and how they effect us on a day to day basis.

The sessions have really helped us with our questioning skills, as well as developing our thinking about the world around us and our place within it.
