Last week, Willow class had lots of fun taking part in our whole school Science week.

We spent time learning all about the recent Mars Rover landing and the planet Mars. We created our very own parachutes to replicate the Mars Rover parachute landing and we created wonderful oil pastel drawings of Mars.

We had a fabulous time designing, making and investigating the best materials to make a parachute out of and the best height to drop the parachute from. We did this indoors, on the hill and eventually dropped our parachutes from the fireman’s pole. Despite the stormy wind, it was a success!
