Last Wednesday, Year 5s took part in a KNEX Challenge Competition. Their brief was to build a castle that was strong, had at least one mechanism and a working door. Everyone had a great time and came up with some very inventive and original designs. Eli and Hector came up with the winning design which featured a spike trap that fell down in front of the door, a cannon that shot and a door that opened with strings and pulleys. Ingenious! Eli and Hector now go through to the next round of the competition where they will compete against other schools from the South West. Congratulations!
