This week the recipient of the Shining Light Award is Evie.

She was nominated by Henry G.

Evie was chosen for being a great friend and for showing perseverance and keeping going with her work even when it was really hard. 

Recognition of our nominees;

Maya - has shown great courage and continued to be a lovely friend.

Rose - she opened Willow Class back door for Frankie when he couldn't reach it.

Harrison - is a good friend and had fun in the snow.

Rhea - always plays with the reception children when they are sad or alone. And nominated again for helping Melissa to make her robin.

Oli - helped to tidy the classroom and was picking up other peoples' rubbish. And when he won sweets during a party game, he shared them out with his whole class.

Eva - forfeited her place in a party game when someone was upset so that she could make them feel better. And for helping Jaimee to feel happy and enthusuastic when she was feeling nervous about the orchestra.

Henry and Augie - they are nice to people they are playing with and let others join in.

Seb - always plays with Finley so nicely.

Martha and Melissa - were quiet when everyone else was very loud when playing Kahoot.

Ziggy - is a nice friend.

Martha - has been a great friend when Amelia was upset and always helps. And for always being a great friend to Melissa, even if they fall out, they make up. 

Amelia - is a nice friend to people.
