This week our Shining Stars are; Arlo, Ted, Unah, Lucca and Emily.
Arlo was chosen for working very hard on his design to create his house out of recycled materials. He thought about which materials would work well for each part and did so on his own.
Ted was chosen for challenging himself in maths and working independently. He helped others in groups and always put his hand up to share answers.
Unah was chosen for her fantastic diary entry. She read it aloud with brilliant confidence when she performed it to the class. It was as though her character was actually in the room.
Lucca was chosen for taking responsibility and committing to learning his lines and cues for the upcoming Oak assembly. He has nailed his comedy timing.
Emily was chosen for her can-do attitude to her learning for the entirety of the week. She wrote a letter home from the perspective of Stanley from the book Holes. She made clever choices about how she could match the author's style of writing.
