This week our shining stars are; Maddie, Flo, Melissa, Darcey and Henry.
Maddie was chosen for working fantastically well during phonics lessons. She knows all of her phase 2 and 3 sounds and actions. She has also been working very hard on her letter formation and writing words with the ‘ee’ digraph.
Flo was chosen for creating a perfect recipe for friendship. She came up with creative ideas and interesting ways to make a friend, as well as using great adverbs like gently and carefully, and presented it with her lovely handwriting.
Melissa was chosen for showing great attention to detail during art. She explored expressive contour and dimensional lines to create a pyramids piece.
Darcey was chosen for putting in a lot of effort with her learning and for constantly trying hard. She has been working hard on her timestables, used her own time to edit and change her newspaper bulletin and has been noticed for really shining all round.
Henry was chosen for his great design and teamwork skills while making wooden trust bridges. He did a great job at being a project manager, he solved the problem of running out of wood and was able to support his team throughout the whole process.
Well done everyone, what a wonderful way to end the term.
