Ted is Willow Class' shining star this week because of his fantastic mathematical knowledge and use of vocabulary when discussing length and height. Teddy uses stem sentences well such as 'I can see...' and 'I notice that...' to explain his thoughts to his friends. Teddy has understood both concepts well and he uses words such as longer and short, tall and short to compare different lengths and heights. Teddy can use his sight and non-standard units to measure objects. Well done Teddy!
Lottie is Ash Class' shining star this week because she has been working hard to include interesting vocabulary in her writing. She has written some great similes this week. Well done Lottie!
George is Elm Class' shining star this week because of his fantastic effort learning his tables at home. He's been practising every day at home and working had to improve his speed and turn his heat-map completely green! Great job, George! Keep it up!
Poppy is Beech Class' shining star this week for her excellent work in Science. She designed the 'Blazing Laitris Star', a plant adapted to survive in a savannah environment. Poppy thought carefully about the adaptations it would need and was very creative. Well done on a fantastic piece of learning!
Rose is Beech Class' shining star this week because of her excellent pencil experiment when practising to develop different tones and textures when sketching.
