This week the recipient of the Shining Light Award is Ethan.

Ethan was nominated by Mrs Penney.

He was chosen because he included a younger child from Reception in a game with other children from his class. He was very positive and encouraging and really helped to make it successful.

 

Recognition of nominees:

Amelia B for cracking back on with what she was doing after a tearful moment.

Martha for tying her friends lace almost without her noticing.

Melissa and Katy for helping Tilly to wash all of the mud off her coat after a fall.

Sophia D for having a great personality and being a great friend. Also for helping the Receptions put on their coats.

Harry J for playing with George when he was lonely.

Caspar for instinctively holding open the hall doors to let children leave.

Eva for cheering up her younger friend when they were feeling upset.

Maddie and Izzy for rushing to help Lexi when she had fallen over.

Will for being a good friend and helping out when they were struggling to reach something.

Arlo for always having a positive attitude and saying hello, as well as always showing great manners.

Flora and Libby for helping Mrs Warner to sort out the library.

Cecily for asking her friend if she wanted a hug when she was sad. As well as always being nice to Sophia, and always stopping to help when someone is sad.

Isabella for always being a good friend.

Evie for being a good friend.

Poppy for always helping out when children are sad and for being nice.

Jack for always been kind, showing the school values and is always happy.

Tom S for always trying hard and doing good work.

Theo for giving another child a ball when they didn’t have one.
