This week our Shining Stars are; Abigail, Arnie, Thomas, Tabby, Jonny and Samuel.
Abigail was chosen for showing a lot of bravery and resilience on sports day. She was initially very nervous during the practices, yet she gave it a great go on the day and surprised herself with how much she enjoyed herself – even crossing the line with a big smile.
Arnie and Thomas were chosen for working together to create an excellent piece of Andy Goldsworthy inspired art using items they could find from around the classroom.
Tabby was chosen for her improved presentation and determination in Maths.
Jonny was chosen for being incredibly helpful to the teachers on sports day by getting his teammates ready for each race, showing an excellent attitude to overcoming his sporting barriers with his wrist injury, as well as providing great reasoning answers to questions in Maths.
Samuel was chosen for showing great skill when learning to model objects in 3D on the computer. He was able to move and manipulate shapes, was able to replicate a table creation and add additional shapes on top such as a fruit bowl.
Well done everyone, this has been a great start to term 6.
