This week our Shining Stars are; Lottie, Teddy, Amelia, Martha, Melissa and Toby.
Lottie was chosen for working so hard in writing lessons. She has been applying her phonic and common exception knowledge to write well thought out and interesting facts. Your factfile is amazing, well done Lottie!
Teddy was chosen for his fantastic reading. He has worked hard to move onto a new reading level this week. He always tries hard, reads regularly and uses his phonic knowledge to sound out unknown words. Well done Teddy!
Amelia, Martha and Melissa were chosen for working incredibly hard on their DT project. This term Elm class have been planning and designing an electrical product with hidden circuitry. The three girls worked effectively as a team and ensured that the design’s circuits were completely hidden. They showed a lot of careful consideration throughout the design process and iterated on their ideas sensibly during the prototype stage. Their final product was stronger as a result! Great teamwork!
Toby was chosen for creating a professional looking vector drawing in Google Drawings. He used lots of skills to create it including layering, filling, rotation and grouping. Very well done!
Well done everyone, a super way to end the term!
