This week the recipient of the Shining Light Award is Darcey-Rose.
She was nominated by Miss Britton, Miss Prichard and Mr MacKenzie.
Darcey-Rose was chosen for demonstrating care, compassion and friendship, and maintained calm, in an emergency situation. She was amazing in the way she responded – she supported her friend, helped the adults deal with it and then reassured the other pupils who were upset. What an amazing display of maturity – putting everyone else’s needs ahead of your own. What a star!

…both girls stepped up to run not only in the Year 4 races at District Sports, but also Year 5 ones. They showed great team spirit and were unphased by competing against older children. Because of them, we were able to field someone in every event. Thank you. |
