Our Shining Stars 24.10.2024

24 October 2024 (by admin)

Our Shining Stars this week are: Ellis; Cecily; Mia; Ziggy and Jess.

Ellis is Willow Class shining star because of his fantastic understanding of our class story - Owl Babies.  Ellis can retell the story in his own words, he did this through adding lots of interesting details.  Ellis acted out the story with his friends using puppets and and masks and sequenced the story independently.  Well done Ellis!

Cecily is Ash Class shining star this week because she did a fantastic job of labelling our map in our Enquiry lesson, clearly showing lots of the important features of our classroom.  Well done Cecily!

Mia is Elm Class shining star this week because she's been working hard in every lesson this week.  She has worked really hard at getting more content in her books.  She has been writing far more in English and completing a lot more questions in Maths.  Not only that, but she's put 110% effort into every single lesson this week.  A huge well done Mia.  Keep up the amazing work!

Ziggy is Beech Class shining star this week because of his excellent effort in Maths and applying his understanding of times-tables to solve square and cube numbers.  Well done Ziggy!

Jess is Beech Class shining star this week for getting to grips with comparing fractions.  Tricky stuff!  She worked methodically and with super focus to convert one or both of the fractions to a common denominator.  You have also done a great job this week explaining your thinking confidently to the class.  Well done!
